Christmas rejoicing!

Father, let me loose my clutch on everything temporal.
My life, my reputation, my possessions, Lord, let me
loose the tension of the grasping hand. Open
my hand to receive the nail of Calvary, as Christ's
was opened.  He thought heaven, yea, equality
with God, not a thing to be clutched at. So let
me release my grasp.

"And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient
to the point of death, even death on a cross."
Philippians 2:8

Yes, there was a baby in a manger.  But that baby grew up to be our propitiation that we
might become the righteousness of God.  May our lives be lived in surrender
to the King of kings and Lord of lords who laid aside His rights as God to die in our place.
This Christmas remember the manger but rejoice in the cross!!!!
